What to know before you take a seat at Paperbark House.
Before you sit down
How a Table Works
The house dealer manages each table and will find you a seat where there’s room; most tables are happy to take one more player if space allows.
Chips are handed out at the door and belong to the table you’re sitting at; they can’t be carried between tables or exchanged for cash at any point.

Five Things Every Player Keeps in Mind
- You must be eighteen or over to sit at any table; ID is checked whenever there’s any doubt at the door.
- Every hand at Paperbark House is dealt in person on the workshop floor; nothing here is played online, and that isn’t going to change.
- Chips mark points only — there is no wagering and no cash prize at any table, ever.
- Phones stay off the felt while a hand is in play; photos are welcome in the dining room and near the old tool cabinet instead.
- Last hands are called around midnight most nights, a little later on Fridays and Saturdays.
